Patrick McDermott

I’m a 3rd grade teacher, and this is my first year at Teller. I graduated from the University of Iowa last year. For student teaching, I taught 3rd grade in Iowa City and traveled to New Zealand to teach in a Years 5/6 classroom. After graduating in December, I returned to Iowa City and worked as a long-term substitute teacher. I moved to Denver in August and am excited to join the Teller community. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, hiking, frog catching, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my friends/family.
