DPS Discovery Link – The DPS Afterschool Program

*Important* Teller Discovery Link program does not currently have a waitlist for new students.

Discovery Link operates at Teller Monday-Friday, from 2:35 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as on certain break days and during the summer to provide high-quality student care.

Discovery Link is licensed by the State of Colorado and has been administered by the Department of Extended Learning and Community Schools since 1984. They provide high quality educational, recreational and enrichment opportunities to our children.

Discovery Link’s philosophy is to provide a creative, safe, enriching and caring environment for children before and after the regular school day.

The childcare providers are qualified professionals trained in the areas of CPR, First Aid, activity planning, and behavior management.

The Teller Compassion Project

The Teller Compassion Project empowers students to identify needs within their school and community and take meaningful action to create positive change. Through learning, empathy, collaboration, and service, students develop leadership skills while becoming compassionate, responsible, and engaged citizens.

Open to 3rd through 5th grade students, the Teller Compassion Project is student-led with guidance and support from adult mentors. Students work together to identify causes they care about, design service projects, educate others, and make a positive impact both within Teller and throughout the community.
