Hi there! My name is Maggie Hogan. I’m excited to join the Teller community and bring my 8 years of experience in education to our students. I’m entering my fourth year teaching Early Childhood Education (ECE). I hold a BA in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from CU Denver. I’m also a certified Early Childhood Special Educator. The last two years, I’ve had the rewarding experience of teaching in both Spanish and English as a dual language ECE teacher. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive and play-based classroom and I’m eager to continue this journey here with all of you. I grew up in Congress Park and attended Denver Public Schools for Elementary, Middle, and High School! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my 14 year old dog, Seamus, practicing yoga, and trying new recipes with my husband. I also love singing and playing the guitar, and I often incorporate music into my teaching to make learning fun and engaging for the kids. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and contributing to our wonderful school community!
