Jennifer Bartos is our music and theater teacher. She is passionate about incorporating all forms of performing arts into her classes, including dance, theater, instrumental, and vocal music. With 22 years of experience, Jennifer teaches ECE through 5th-grade students. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Management and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Reading and Writing, both from the University of Colorado at Denver. Her dedication and hard work were recognized with the Colorado Thespian Elementary Educator Award in 2013 and then again in 2020. In 2007 and again in 2010, she was named the Mile High Teacher for Barney Ford Elementary School. In addition to her daily instruction, she offers beginning and concert band and Tiger Voices, a school choir for students in 1st through 5th grades, as an extra enrichment after school. In the summer, Jennifer enjoys directing children’s theater for Rocky Mountain Theater for Kids, where she has been directing for 15 years. She believes every child can shine, and her pride and duty are to help every child entering her class find their true potential through the Performing Arts.
