My name is Jason Smartt, and I am the Assistant Principal at Teller Elementary. I am passionate about providing students with the skills they need to manage their emotions and relationships, ensuring that every student at Teller is seen, heard, and celebrated. Outside of school, I love spending time with my partner Mia, my daughter Nora, and our two dogs, Roo and Cassius. I also have a passion for the great outdoors, art, social justice, and live music. In my “free” time, I serve my community as a freelance restorative practitioner helping businesses and organizations create a more vibrant community. I hold a Masters of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver, which has shaped my approach to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment. Being part of the Teller community brings me immense joy!
