I am proud to say that I am starting my 25th year teaching for DPS. Before coming to Teller 14 years ago to teach English Language Development and Special Education, I was a 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade bilingual teacher in Northwest Denver. I have earned two Master’s Degrees, the first in Spanish Culture, Language and Literature from Middlebury College in Vermont and the second in Special Education and Bilingual Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder. I have a 14 year old daughter who pines for her days at Teller. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy practicing yoga, cooking, reading, bird-watching and spending time with family and friends.
