My name is Mara Gras. I have been a teacher for 22 years. I have spent the last 19 years teaching here at Teller. I taught Kindergarten for 14 years and moved to ECE 8 years ago. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Denver. I grew up in the Congress Park Neighborhood and currently live in the neighborhood with my two daughters, Makena (8) and Makenzie (4). You might see me walking the neighborhood with my Great Pyrenees, Olaf and my Corgi, Hawaii. I feel extremely lucky to teach in this amazing neighborhood and give back to the community I am proud to call home.
