Jennifer Bartos brings warmth and expertise to her role as a music and theater educator, drawing on 22 years of experience teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade. She loves introducing her students to the magic of the performing arts—whether it’s dance, theater, instrumental, or vocal music. Jennifer earned both her Bachelor of Science in Music Management and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (with a focus on Reading and Writing) from the University of Colorado at Denver. Her commitment to her students and her craft has been recognized with the Colorado Thespian Elementary Educator Award (2013 and 2020) and the Mile High Teacher award at Barney Ford Elementary School (2007 and 2010). In addition to daily classes, Jennifer directs beginning and concert bands and leads Tiger Voices, the school choir for 1st through 5th graders, offering fun enrichment after school. Summers find her directing shows for Rocky Mountain Theater for Kids, where she’s been inspiring young performers for 16 years. Jennifer’s guiding belief is that every child can shine, and she takes joy in helping each student discover their own talents through the arts. Outside of school, she enjoys family time, adventures with her dog Bossa Nova, and attending live theater with her daughter.
