Teller Elementary School in the Congress Park Neighborhood


A walk-in school located at 12th and Garfield Street, Teller Elementary School boasts a renovated facility where enrollment reflects Denver's cultural diversity. The involved community and staff promote the value of a solid educational foundation and provide Teller students with the tools for achieving high academic standards, including:

  • A comprehensive curriculum for ECE - 5th grades
  • Challenge & enrichment programs (gifted and talented)
  • Small class with an average of 20 students
  • 5 days a week Physical Education classes for K-5th grades
  • Dedicated faculty with an average of 16 years teaching experience
  • Kaleidoscope program for before and after school care
  • Full day kindergarten
  • Strong Destination Imagination program
  • Art and Music classes for K-5th grades
  • Instrumental band with regular performances
  • After school activities including Basketball, Tae Kwon Do and Spanish
