Robyn Mayer

I am a 5-year employee of DPS who has worked as a one-on-one paraprofessional, an instructional paraprofessional, as a guest teacher, and as a leader of advanced reading groups for first-graders. My husband is Kip, and we live with our cat (Catalina) and dog (Lenny). I am the mother of three great kids and two awesome grandsons (2 and 9). I am passionate about environmental conservation, birds and birding, history, and reading (especially The Classics). I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a B.A. in Journalism and English literature. I have also completed many courses in environmental sciences. I have had many jobs, including as a park ranger, library assistant, reporter, and editor. For fun, I read, go birdwatching, volunteer, hike, write fiction, and watch movies (especially quirky comedies and British crime shows).
