Teller Farmer’s Market – Hosted by Ms. Jimenez’s 5th Grade Class – September 14th

Denver Urban Gardens, in partnership with Slow Food Denver, works with local schools to coordinate the Denver youth farm stands for the young. The youth farm stands offer healthy food to communities, promote nutrition, demonstrate healthy meal preparation in partnership with local chefs and develop community capacity and leadership.

This week’s Farmer’s Market will be hosted and run by Ms. Jimenez’s class! They have selected the produce that will be available and also helped to select price points as well. What a great lesson in business and economics!

Come by and purchase locally grown produce and support our kids.
