Join Us At Tellerpalooza! – Saturday, May 12th

Posted 05/06/2018

Started by music-loving Teller parents, the event has grown into one of Teller’s largest fundraiser and community events. The event takes place at the Bluebird Theater, located right in the Teller neighborhood! But this event is not your typical school fundraiser. Don’t expect kid music. Expect everything under the sun music. And while, yes, kids are welcome – Tellerpalooza shows what makes Teller special. A community that enjoys a great time, great music, and each other.

The event will be presided over by the always entertaining and unpredictable master of ceremonies, Zach Hochstadt. Early in the evening, the stage features the Teller student band. Later, some of the younger kids head home to babysitters while parents and local fans stay into the night. Tellerpalooza 2018 is about much more than music, with food trucks, a bake sale, a merchandise market with Tellerpalooza tees and goodies from performing bands, games, and other surprises. Basically, come and plan to HAVE FUN. Doors open at 4:00p, and the music starts soon thereafter and ends around 11:00 pm

WALL OF WINE:

Need we say more? It’s a fixture of Tellerpalooza, and we need your help to make it a success!
We need YOU to donate wine, and local stores have offered to make that easier! Capitol Heights Pharmacy is giving 20% off all wine purchases and Marczyks on 17th St is giving 10% off 3, 15% off 6 and 20% off 12 bottles between now and May 11th –just mention Teller or Tellerpalooza. Both stores will also hold your wine for the Wall of Wine people to pick up! So buy a case, keep some for yourself (we won’t tell!) and donate the rest to Wall of Wine.
Want to donate other bottles? Drop them off on the front porch of the Baptiste residence – 1427 Garfield St (conveniently located on your way to school or Sprouts!). Please do not bring Wine to Teller.
