My name is Rebecca Archuleta, Ms. Becky. I have been a teacher for 22 years. I have spent the last 19 years teaching at Teller. I taught ECE all 22 years of my career. I grew up in Arvada, Colorado and currently live in the same neighborhood. I feel extremely lucky to teach in this amazing neighborhood and give back to the community. A little bit about myself… I  have four sons, Daniel (31), Alex (30), Mickey (26) and Johnathan (22) and we adopted my great-nephew, Moses (9). I have a grandson, Cameron (5) and a grand-daughter on the way.  I have two Master’s Degrees in Creative Curriculum and Design with an emphasis in Early Childhood, an Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix. I enjoy traveling, sports, reading and supporting the Denver Broncos. Our classroom is a place to learn, grow and have fun. We will spend time learning to make friends and solve problems, we practice our letters and sounds to help us get ready to read, and we will learn how to count, create patterns and a variety of other math skills. Our thematic Tools of the Mind units this year will be: Family, Restaurant, Grocery Store, Hospital, Pet/Vet. Our daily large and small group lessons will involve activities related to our themes.
