Dear Teller Families:

As a school community, it is our priority to keep you informed about events that impact our school and students. We want to inform you that Mr. Bourdon, our art teacher, will be out of the classroom on family medical leave, and will not be returning to work after winter break.

We realize that his absence may be difficult for students and families. Mr. Bourdon will be speaking with students in his classes prior to his departure. Please talk with your child about how they are dealing with this change and let us know if he/she needs additional support.

Your children’s learning is of utmost importance to us, and we will continue to put supports in the classroom to ensure their learning is not interrupted. Please know that we are actively searching for a long-term substitute who will teach art for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year. This search is our top priority, and we hope to have someone hired by the first of the year.

Please feel free to reach out to our main office at 720-424-3560 with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,

Sabrina Bates
