On May 21st, Teller Elementary proudly presented Tellerpalooza II – a fundraising event featuring the best of the Denver music scene.

Bands
  • The Reals
  • Local 33
  • Toast
  • Wendy Woo
  • Michael C & Xtended Versions

Teller supporters from all over the neighborhood and beyond turned out for a fantastic night of music.  The evening began with a special presentation from Teller’s own band.  Then The Reals took the stage and the dancing began.  The party continued into the wee hours of the next morning featuring such great Denver talent as Local 33, Wendy Woo, Toast and Michael C & Xtended Version.

The turnout and support from the Teller Community was inspiring.  The school was able to raise over $9500 – that is $6000 more than the previous year’s concert!!

The venue for this year’s concert was The Mercury Café (2199 California St in downtown Denver).  Many thanks go out to Marilyn and the incredible staff at the Merc.  Due to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, children and adults alike had a terrific time.

Make sure to look for Tellerpalooza III next spring – you can support your neighborhood school while enjoying a great night of local music.

A fundraising event like the Tellerpalooza takes an incredible amount of time and energy to plan and execute.  The highly dedicated Teller parents worked for months to bring about this successful concert.  Teller parents like Mark Stevens, Jody Chapel, Michelle Lang, Josh and Shannon Snyder, Lisa Kipp and Julie Lang put in the extra effort that made Tellerpalooza II a big hit.
