PTA NewsSuccessful Fundraisers!Thank you for your support of the Halloween Carnival, Election Day Bake Sale & for supporting our Open House with donations of baked goods. We were able to raise money and have fun at the same time. A special thank you goes out to Liesl Buck, Julie Lang, Roxanne Troxler, Monique Rugile, Dawn Satchell, Lyndsay Taylor & Michele Foust for making these events so wonderful!
Business Sponsorship UpdateOur new Business Sponsorship Chair, Brian Koenigberg, has done a terrific job approaching local businesses and last year’s sponsors to revive our Business Sponsorship Program. We have managed to gain $2800 in committed donations thus far. If you are interested in donating and receiving some nice marketing benefits, please send a message from our Contact Page.
Grocery Certificates UpdatePlease remember to support our grocery certificate fundraiser. You can come to the office anytime and purchase grocery gift cards, at face value, for King Soopers, Safeway or Sunflower Market. 5% of all sales will go to Teller PTA. We rely heavily on this fundraiser to help us hit our $35,000 goal so please make the effort to stock up on gift cards before going grocery shopping. If you are unable to stop by Teller during office hours please send message from our Contact Page.
Treasury & Web Site UpdateReported at our PTA meeting last week was the $33,968 that the PTA still needs to raise for this school year. We still have many fundraising events left to come; however, you can also help by merely making a donation to the school. Instead of writing a check, you can now go to our web site and make a donation online! Thanks to Tim Threlkeld, our web site is evolving into more of an e-commerce site that allows you to use credit or debit cards to make purchases. You can buy coffee, pay for a PTA membership, donate money for library books, etc. Go to the Teller Store now!
Upcoming PTA Events:Book Fair – Tuesday December 9th to December 12th – books make great holiday gifts! Please contact Roxanne Troxler or Tracy Coate if you can volunteer for a shift to work the book fair.
PTA Family Night – Wednesday December 10th – Come create your own book with Klutz book kits – Starts at 6:30pm – snacks & refreshments provided.
Lights On After School - December 15 & 16th from 4pm to 5:30pm – If your child did NOT participate this semester, you will be able to sign up on Dec 15th. If your child did participate in a LOAS program this semester, you will have sign up open to you on Dec 16th. Sign up is for next semester programs. The finalized list of classes offered will be sent out in Thursday folders prior to sign up. Please contact Sarah Kinzer with questions.
Teller Night At Local Restaurants – Our Room Parent Chairs, Monique Rugile & Dawn Satchell, are working on Teller Family Night at local restaurants. Once a month we will choose a local restaurant and a certain amount of proceeds from food sales from Teller families will be donated to the Teller PTA. More to come following the holidays!
