Success!
Our first annual Wine Tasting event was a huge success with over 150 people attending. And, until May 2nd, you can still purchase wine from Marczyk's and 10% goes to Teller. To order, download the order form, and call or drop by Marczyk's with your order at:
Marczyk Fine Foods 770 East 17th Avenue, corner of 17th and Clarkson Denver, Colorado 80203 (303) 894-9499
-----
Come
join other Teller
parents (and friends of Teller!) for an
adults-only event that mixes good food, good wine, good friends and a
good cause - our school! Marczyk Fine Wines is hosting the event, so
you know it is
going to be good. Save the date, invite
everyone you know, and start calling your babysitters now.
The Teller Winetasting was a ZERO WASTE event due to the generous donation of Michael Koch, Architect. This means everything will be either recycled or composted. We are using the Zero Waste Kit from Eco-Cycle.
The following restuarants will be donating our appetizers: Luca D'Italia, Mizuna, and Osteria Marco.
Best Wine Store for Amateurs: “No
one in Denver has a palate quite like Peter Marczyk who, along with his
wife Barbara Macfarlane, has made Marczyk Fine Foods and Wine one of
the great additions to the Denver landscape.” -Westword Newspaper, “Best of Denver” 2004
One of Denver’s Five Great Wine Stores “Marczyk’s
features a small, sharply edited wine shop…Uncrowded and accessible,
the store invites long, slow browsing sessions and lengthy discussions
with the staff, who have tasted and retasted everything in the store.
Not always the cheapest selection around, but it’s one of the finest.” -Tucker Shaw The Denver Post
